Germany and Slovakia have won four games and lost one game in group A of World Cup qualifying round. Both teams have 12 points. Goal difference of Germany is +7 and Slovakia is +4. Germany can obviously edge ahead of Slovakia if they win and the same is true for Slovaks. Slovaks defeated Germany(2-0) in home game.

Czech Republic won against Gibraltar(4-0) in road game. They have qualified for the World Cup Football and can't improve their position in group L. Gibraltar have scored against Montenegro and Faroe Islands in the road games of World Cup qualifying round.

Alexander Sorloth and Erling Haaland so mighty efficient forwards that Norway already have ensured their berth in the next World Cup Football. They have scored 21 points in group I and Italy are right behind them with 18 points. Its Norway Italy lost to(0-3). Sorloth and Haaland both scored in that game. Norway have +29 goal difference and Azzuri have it at +12. That can't be bridged so an Italian victory doesn't matter for qualification. Italy is not even in their best form. They scored late against Moldova in the first qualifier game scheduled this week.

Israel are out of World Cup qualifying race and so are Moldova. Moldova still earned respect by holding Italy to 0-0 until very late in home game. Israel played a stalemate against Lithuania in an international friendly game. Neither team scored.

Israel is not allowed to host qualifiers and will have Nagyerdei Stadium in Debrecen, Hungary as their home stadium.

Carolina Panthers are just behind Tampa Bay Buccaneers in NFC South standings. They have 5 wins in 10 games.

Atlanta Falcons have won 3 of 9 games. But they are coming close of a win. They lost to Indianapolis Colts in overtime last week and lost by a single point against New England Patriots before that.

Minnesota Vikings are the least successful team of NFC North. They have 4 of 9 games. Chicago Bears have won 6 of 9 games. They are at second place.

The halfway line of the season is already crossed. So Vikings have to win this game to make themselves relevant again.

Three losses in four games can derail a season. Pittsburgh Steelers are still 5-4. Cincinnati Bengals are 3-6. Its a direct divisional match-up. The game will be intense. More so after Steelers lost to Bengals(31-33) earlier this season.

Steelers' defense is their traditional strength. It has to reinvigorate at Heinz Field. Joe Flacco is going to lead Bengals in a divisional game once again.

Los Angeles Chargers are at the second spot in AFC West standings. They have 7 of 10 games. This is a fantastic position as they are ahead of defending AFC champ, Kansas City Chiefs(5-4).

Jacksonville Jaguars had incredible collapse on defense last week. The led against Houston Texans by 29-10 in the end of third quarter and then a 0-26 fourth quarter resulted in their loss.

Jaguars are 4-5 and still have chance to stay in playoff race. They are third in AFC South standings.
